Knowledge is Power but Access Equals Success

In 2018, I became interested in Bitcoin after hearing all of the hype about the amount of money that could be made.  I invested but I didn’t make millions.  I delved into Bitcoin and learned there was more to the cryptocurrency, which led me to become a Certified Blockchain Expert.  I discovered it could be a game changer among the disenfranchised and a vehicle to successful entrepreneurship.  I began a journey to empower, educate, and advocate for Diversity in Blockchain by presenting at conferences focused on minorities and women.

As a founding delegate for the National Policy Network for Women of Color in Blockchain, I met with members of the US Congress, House Representatives Financial Services to Committee, to discuss legislation and make recommendations to be more inclusive. At the local level, I have testified  before the Ohio House of Assembly to lobby for Blockchain legislation.  I currently serve as the Chapter Lead for the Government Blockchain Association in Columbus, Ohio.  Finally, I serve as member of a coalition of Ohio companies advancing Blockchain in throughout the state.
